Snecked iron by Ward which is cast steel. Unfortunately the plane has been poorly stored at some point thus its condition. Still perfectly useable though and a cheap price.

Very nice 15 1/2" long Scottish cast metal panel plane in very good clean condition. With the thick casting this is a heavy plane. Nice shape gunmetal lever cap with very nice over-stuffed walnut infill which has been beautifully crafted. Near full length tapered iron by William Marples of Sheffield which is cast steel gives a fine mouth. 2 1/2" wide blade. A real nice plane just itching to be put back to good use.
