Embossed Bottles

1. PEPSI=COLA / ATLANTA, GA Front Rear Base
   Aqua green glass, height 8 1/4", ABM with crown top, embossed on front with Pepsi:Cola / TRADE MARK REG. and below that 29S / PAT. NO. 80587, MIN. CONT. 6 1/2 FLU. OZS., ATLANTA / GA. on base, ATL2 in Ayers' Pepsi book - rarity 3, circa 1929, excellent condition a small ping and light spot of case - no other issues, never been tumbled, item #PE101, SOLD.

2. PEPSI=COLA / CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA
   Green tinted glass, height 8 1/4", crude ABM with crown top, embossed on front with Pepsi:Cola on shoulder and JESSUP / BOTTLING / WORKS / CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. in circular slug plate, J on base, CHAR6 in Ayers' Pepsi book - rarity 2, circa 1916-19, excellent conditon (never tumbled) with some light wear and shallow open bubble (see left shoulder in photo) but no chips/cracks, item #PE98, SOLD.

3. PEPSI=COLA / FAYTETTEVILLE, NC Front Rear Base
   Dark chocolate amber glass, height 8 3/4", BIM with crown top, embossed on front with Pepsi:Cola / FAYETTEVILLE, N.C., plain base, FA2 in Ayers' Pepsi book - rarity 3, circa 1908, near mint condition with just some very light spots of case wear - no damage, never been tumbled, item #PE100, SOLD.

4. PEPSI=COLA / GOLDSBORO, NC
   Green tinted glass, height 8 1/4", crude ABM with crown top, triple script bottle with Pepsi:Cola on shoulder, above base, and on base, back shoulder has "CAP 6 1/2 OZ.", "THIS BOTTLE NOT TO BE SOLD" on back above base, GO11 in Ayer's new Pepsi book - rarity 4, circa 1920-21, excellent condition with just a few areas of scuffing on back and sides, never been cleaned - great example with lots of crudity, item #PE76, SOLD.

5. PEPSI=COLA / GREENSBORO, NC
   Aqua blue tinted glass, height 7 3/4", BIM with crown top, embossed on front with Pepsi:Cola / BOTTLING WORKS, GREENSBORO, N.C. on rear side, plain base, GR1 in Ayers' Pepsi book - rarity 4, circa 1908-10, professionally cleaned to excellent condition - retains some small pings and case wear and a small base ding but no chips/cracks, item #PE97, SOLD.

6. PEPSI=COLA / HENDERSON, NC Front
   Clear glass, height 8 3/8", BIM with crown top, embossed on front above base in rectangular slug plate with HENDERSON, N.C. / Pepsi:Cola, front also has blank circular slug plate, "242" on the base, HE1 in Ayers' Pepsi book - rarity 2, circa 1912, excellent condition a small ping and light spot of case - no other issues, never been tumbled, item #PE102, For Sale $95.

7. PEPSI=COLA / LYNCHBURG, VA
   Ice blue tinted glass, height 7 3/4", BIM with crown top, embossed in circular slug plate "DRINK / Pepsi=Cola / DELICIOUS HEALTHFUL / LYNCHBURG, VA.", plain base, excellent condition with some light spots of wear - does have two manufacturing defects: a dip in lip (result of underfilled mold) and shallow rectangular hole (result of pincher tool?), never been tumbled and doesn't need it, embossing is very crisp, LY1 in Ayer's Pepsi book, circa 1911, rarity 3 (rare), earliest of the Lynchburg Pepsi's and toughest to find, item #PE93, SOLD.

8. PEPSI=COLA / NEW BERN, NC Front Rear
   Clear glass, height 7 1/2", ABM with crown top, neat/desirable drape style, embossed on front shoulder with Pepsi:Cola / BOTTLING CO., above front base with NEW BERN, N.C., above rear base with MIN. CONT. 6 FLD. OZ., on base with PATENTED / FEB. 10, 1925, NEW10 in Ayers' Pepsi book - rarity 2, circa 1925, tumbled to excellent condition - retains some moderate wear but no chips, cracks or bruises, item #PE104, For Sale $425.

9. PEPSI=COLA / NORTH WILKESBORO, NC
   Light amethyst tinted glass, height 8 3/8", BIM with crown top, embossed vertically on front with Pepsi:Cola / NORTH WILKESBORO / N.C., F & F on base, NOR2 in Ayers' Pepsi book - rarity 4, circa 1912-15, near mint condition (never tumbled), only Pepsi bottle embossed vertically, item #PE95, Keeper.

10. PEPSI=COLA / PENSACOLA, FL
    Ice blue tinted glass, height 8 1/2", BIM with crown top, embossed on front with ESCAMBIA / Pepsi:Cola / BOTTLING CO. / PENSACOLA, / FLA., E.Co. on base, PEN2 in Ayers' Pepsi book - rarity 3-4, circa 1905-06, professionally cleaned to excellent condition - retains some small dings but no chips, cracks, or bruises, very hard to find in this nice of condition since almost every example dug has damage due to the soft glass, noted by Ayers as "one of the most beautiful early Pepsi bottles" and is pictured on the front cover of his book, item #PE95, SOLD.

11. PEPSI=COLA / RICHMOND, VA
    Light amethyst tinted glass, height 8 3/8", BIM with crown top, embossed on front with THIS BOTTLE NOT SOLD / Pepsi:Cola / RICHMOND, VA., A.G.W. / 60 on base, RI3 in Ayers' Pepsi book - rarity 2, circa 1912-15, professionally cleaned to excellent conditon - retains some wear but no chips/cracks, item #PE98, SOLD.

12. PEPSI=COLA / RONCEVERTE, W.VA.
    Aqua tinted glass, height 8", BIM with crown top, RON1 in Ayer's Pepsi book, circa 1908-09, rarity 3 (rare), near mint condition with nice crudity, no chips/cracks, only issue is a tiny ping on a bottle (2" above slug plate picture makes it look bigger than it is due to large bubble), item #PE79, SOLD.
